Freedom - I think freedom is a fundamental right to the human spirit but it is a right that unfortunately many do not have. I'm thankful for the freedom of speech, for the freedom to be who I am, for the freedom to practice whatever religion, freedom to work, to go to school, to travel, to be you. These are all freedoms that we might take for granted from time to time here in the USA because we have had it for so long. But there are many nations that do not have that. So on this Memorial day I'm grateful for all the fallen soldiers who have lost their lives fighting for our freedom one way or another. THANK YOU.  chasingwildgusts (Cedar, Michigan)

Freedom to me is seeing Venice Beach sunset, sleeping in the desert, eating my favorite cheese in France, walking through the city center of my hometown in Italy. Freedom to me is being able to roam this Earth and it is something to never be taken for granted. @ire.ferri (Valley of Fire State Park)

It means being able to express myself freely and chase after my dreams mikialamode

Freedom to me means being able to speak my mind without restrictions, being able to travel wherever I want, to live in a world where everybody is treated equally and as who they are. lisatselebidis

Freedom for me means that not just I can do what I wish without problems, but that others can do it as well. Be it by other women being able able to travel and move as freely as I, study and choose their way of living, and being able to fulfill their lives without restrictions. Freedom is not just to be able to say whatever I want, is for us as a collective to be able to recognize the humanity and freedom of the other person besides us, and respect it. Totally hopeful for this day to come closer for all the strong females around bookingalife

Freedom is the one thing that we should all have a right to and fight for in this world. Freedom to think, speak, act, make art and be exactly who we want to be in this moment right now. beachbum1989

“It was a big part of my life when I served in the military. And now it’s a big part of my life learning to continue to follow my dreams despite the illness that drastically changed my life two years ago. This photo was taken on my first hike after a month of being so sick from a flair up that I couldn’t leave my house. @rebekah_l_orear had to drive, and we had to take breaks on our way up. It felt so good to be able to move again, even if it was a struggle.  That was November of 2016. I haven’t had a debilitating flair up since. So freedom to me now means freedom to live my life despite my illness, and to make the most of the healthy days.”  Photo by @rebekah_l_orear, caption and photo of thetastytraveler.kt. (Pulpit Rock Park)
